Why it’s different

EDPro is built for long sessions and real SAR-style thinking: multiple missions from the same base, living patients, and an interactive world of ships, rigs, roads, and helipads.

Non-stop sessions

Multiple missions, one sim load

Press Dispatch and go. EDPro spawns scenes on the fly and cleans them up as you complete them, so you can launch back-to-back SAR, medevac, and interdiction calls from the same base without ever reloading Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Procedural missions, not canned scenarios.

Over 20 bases across the continental US, Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico. Each dispatch picks a base, scene, and destination dynamically: offshore boats and rigs, coastal highways, national parks, back-country clearings, and more. No two briefs are identical.

Fly what you want, when you want.

Free mission choice: pick SAR, offshore medevac, interdiction, or let EDPro surprise you. Designed for helicopters first, with fixed-wing profiles also in development. Load your EmergencyDispatcherPro coordinate plan directly into the sim and fly it with your favorite aircraft.

Interactive world and honest scoring.

Custom scene assets: smoke, fire, wrecks, objects, and support ships that actually assist in search and rescue or interdiction. Plus a clear score at the end of each flight so you can see how you did and what to improve next time.

Where you can launch from

EDPro ships with over 20 coast-guard-style bases tuned for helicopter ops, with nearby hospitals, helipads, shipping lanes, and terrain that rewards good planning.

Continental United States

Busy coastal regions with shipping lanes, fishing grounds, highways, and national parks — perfect for stacked SAR, medevac, and interdiction sorties.

Alaska

Cold water, long legs, and unforgiving terrain. The hypothermia model comes into focus here, making time-critical offshore and back-country missions feel appropriately tense.

Hawaii

Island-hopping SAR with boats, shoreline calls, and rugged volcanic terrain that makes route planning and fuel management matter.

Puerto Rico

Tropical weather, coastal traffic, and inland terrain combine for a mix of offshore rescues, interdiction-style missions, and inland medical calls.

    Living patient simulator

Under the hood, EDPro runs a simple but unforgiving patient model tuned with input from medical professionals — so what you do in the cockpit actually matters.

    Heart attacks, strokes, and trauma

Patients aren’t generic “casualties”. Calls can involve chest pain, possible stroke, or trauma from impact. EDPro tracks time-to-pickup, altitude, and handling to determine how they arrive at the destination.

    Hypothermia from real-world water temps

For ditched aircraft and vessel SAR, the hypothermia model uses real-world buoy weather for water temperature to drive a cooling curve. The longer survivors stay in the water, the more critical the situation becomes.

ECG, blood pressure, and heart rate

Behind the scenes, patients have ECG-style behavior, blood pressure, and heart rate that respond to exposure, delay, and rough flying — feeding straight into the outcome and final score.
